As believers, we often struggle to find our purpose and identity in life. We may feel lost or uncertain about what God has planned for us. But the truth is, God has a unique plan for each of us, and it's not just about fulfilling some generic 'calling' or 'assignment'. It's about living out His specific design and intention for our lives.
In this season, I want to encourage you to take time to reflect on your identity in Christ. Who are you in Him? What does the Bible say about your value and worth?
Remember that your identity is not defined by your past mistakes or current circumstances. It's rooted in who God says you are.
It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, isn't it? We're constantly bombarded with messages telling us what we should be doing, who we should be, and how we should be living. But amidst all this noise, it's crucial that we prioritize seeking God's guidance.
The Bible says that we are to 'seek first His kingdom and His righteousness' (Matthew 6:33). This means putting our trust in Him above everything else.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's easy. It takes discipline and intentionality to seek God's guidance. But the reward is worth it.
So, how do we actually discern our purpose? Well, I want to share some practical steps that have helped me and many others in their journey.
Firstly, take time to reflect on your values and passions. What are the things that stir your heart and make you feel alive?
Secondly, seek out mentors or accountability partners who can help guide and support you as you navigate this process.
